Is the Abrahamic Covenant Still Alive and Well?

“Now the Lord had said to Abram: Get out of your country, from your family and from your father’s house, to a land that I will show you.  I will make you a great nation; I will bless you and make your name great; and you shall be a blessing.  I will bless those who bless you, and I will curse him who curses you; and in you all the families of the earth shall be blessed” (Gen.12:1-3).

Hey Gang:  Perhaps the question should be “Are you up to speed in what the Abrahamic Covenant is and how it fits into these last days of the age of the Gentiles?”  The short definition: “The Abrahamic Covenant is a God-given promise that has influenced the very course of human history”.

The apostle Paul, in writing his epistle to the Galatians made it very clear that it was a forever covenant that would never be revoked, replaced or repealed.  He wrote, “What I am saying in this -the Law, which came four hundred and thirty years later, does not invalidate a covenant previously ratified by God, so as to nullify the promise”.

We are told as the Age begins to wind down, we would see rebellion against all of the laws of God, as the world moves rapidly toward the fulfillment of the coming One World Government. It is interesting to note that God placed a huge bolder in the rapid developing plans of the globalist when he placed the trumpet (President Donald James Trump) in the Oval Office.

But that did not stop many preachers in our older major denominations from trying to annul the covenant in some form or fashion in an attempt to deny the Jewish people from returning to their homeland.  There argument, God would never displace a people in order to restore Jewish sovereignty.

But to accept this argument, one has to reject the truth- that He brought His people into Canaan, when the wickedness of the Nations living there was “ripe” for judgement (Deut. 9:4-5).  But even His excuse for retaking and giving the land back to His chosen people did not pass muster with many, they argue, God has no right to judge a nation group and give them an eviction notice.

Genesis and Psalms make it very clear that the Abrahamic Covenant is affirmed as an everlasting covenant (Gen. 17:7-8; Psalm 102:9-12).  Most theologians agree that it is  unconditional, meaning man did not have to do a thing to experience both the blessing or curses  of the covenant.

Although the covenant is under attack by growing numbers of religious gurus, we serve a God who does not change.  The Abrahamic Covenant is everlasting, cannot be changed and even the New Testament Scriptures affirm this.  (Heb. 6:13-20).

Why are their growing numbers who want the Abrahamic Covenant thrashed?  It stands in the way of the One World Government, which is prophesied to come.  Many believe President Trump is but a blip in the road preventing it from coming right now.  Does that mean we can rest on our laurels until the next election?  May that never be.  Read again what awaits those who refuse to ‘place their hands in the Hand of the One who stills the waters’ and make sure you leave no “Holes in Time!

Wen You Least Expect It, Be Ready to be A Seed Planter for Jesus!

“The King will answer and say to them, “Truly I say to you, to the extent you did it to one of these brothers of Mine, even the least of them, you did it unto M Matt. 25:40).

Hey Gang, This morning God said, “Time to lighten up!” I know most of you who avail yourselves to Gramps Morning Thoughts have heard the following story, but I like it! And a repeat of something that ignites a fire in our soul can only be good.  It is the story of a saintly cobbler who learned he was to receive a visit from the Lord that very day.

Though poorer than a church mouse, he determined to entertain the Lord with the best hospitality he could muster.  He bought a loaf of fine bread, a fragrant log to make a fire, and prepared a new pair of shoes for the Master’s feet.

As he waited a starving child came to his door.  There was no way he could not break out the fine bread and give it to the starving visitor.  When a freezing woman knocked on his door, the cobbler made a fire with the fragrant log to warm her.  And to a young man with bruised and bleeding feet he gave the fine shoes.

By nightfall the cobbler was disappointed that the Lord had not yet visited him.  “Why have you not come?”  he prayed.  But Jesus responded, “I did come – three times.  I was the hungry child and you fed for me, I was the freezing woman you warmed at your fire, and I was the man with freezing feet who you gave shoes.”

One of the high points of my life occurred during one of the lowest points in my life.  I had flunked out of college, had, up to that point, made a general mess out of my life and did not have a clue where I was going, I had an itch that I could not scratch, an emptiness I did not have a clue how to fill.

Am not sure how or, why I ended up in Lancaster, Pennsylvania.  I would call it an accident;  God would call it a God-incident or a leading!  One has to eat, so a job was a critical need but I certainly did not have much to offer an employer.  Flash!  ‘Needed immediately, truck driver for dairy.’  Yes, “your hired” was music to my ears!

My job was to drive a route and pick up milk at 53 Amish farms. Wow, was that a neat experience.  Being around the Zook’s, Bontrager’s and Miller’s was an experience that added something to my life- the ability feel good about something.  It certainly was not their intent to shepherd me into the Kingdom, but it did jar the door through their sincere caring for me.

There is a saying that I picked up somewhere along life’s path that says, “We need to be witnesses every day, every hour, every minute of every day and, if necessary, use words.  To the Amish, how a person acts says so much more about their faith than what they say they believe.

There is a biblical proverb behind this way of thinking: “Your own soul is nourished when you are kind; it is destroyed when you are cruel” (Pro. 11:17).  Oh, how true that is.  In our workshops on marriage relationships we often titled it Strawberry Shortcake will get you far greater rewards than Dill Pickles.

Paul teaches: “While we have opportunity, let us do good to all people, and especially to those who are of the household of the faith and those under our roof” (Gal. 6:10).  Slight hillbilly addition.

So, turn your sensitivity eyes and ears on this morning and watch for the hungry child, a freezing woman or a man who has bleeding feet and in need of your third or fourth spare pair of shoes. Reach out to them as the Good Samaritan did with the injured man on the Jericho road.  Why? For in the same measure that you give, God will give back to you” (Lu. 6:38b).

The Time to Ponder Has Passed; TIme to Get Very Serious!

“And the word of the Lord came to me saying, ‘son of Man, set your face toward Gog of the land of Magog, the prince of Rosh, Meshech and Tubal, and prophesy against him and say, “Thus says the Lord  God, “Behold I am against you, O Gog, prince of Rosh, Meshech and Tubal, and I will turn you about and put hooks into your jaws and bring you out…” (Ezek. 38:1-4).

Hey Gang, are you up to speed in what is happening in your world?   Jesus rebuked the Pharisees for their lack of interest in the signs that were all around them.  They knew how to predict the weather but did not have a clue what was happening in their world.

Several weeks ago, a very profound thing happened in our world.  The economy of Turkey took a nose- dive.  So why is that so profound? Economies go up and go down on a fairly-regular basis, but this time it has a very special significance.  The leader of Turkey is a gent by the name of Erdogan whose mission in life is to restore the Ottoman Empire and become a world power.

A recent decision by our President to place tariff’s on Turkey for their price gauging has ticked Erdogan off so much that he has nearly severed ties with the western world and has begun to seek new partners who will give him the esteem that he feels he deserves.   And that, folks, should get your attention because those standing in the wings (Russia, Iran and Syria) stand ready to give him what he wants and him into their unholy alliance.

History has taught us that every attack on Israel has come from the North, which makes Turkey a key to the coming Gog Magog war.  There is no question, my friends, the Gog Magog Confederacy described by Ezekiel is growing into a mighty force, even as I type this epistle.

If you were to ask most folks who have knowledge of this coming war what the next big event is on God’s calendar, they would say that He is preparing to put a hook in this Confederacy and pull them into the mountains of Israel where He will release His wrath on them.

But, I have always had a problem with that being the next biggy in God’s Daily Planner.  I could not get my head to understand how the nations of the Gog Magog conflict listed in Ezekiel did not include the true antagonists of the day; the ones who threaten to totally annihilate Israel are conspicuous by their absence.

And then one day I happened to tune into an interview involving Bill Salus and several other prophecies gurus.  Bill’s answer to the omission of the rabble-rousers who butt up against Israel, simply stated – they no longer exist.  ‘And what do you base that assumption on, Mr. Bill?’  His reply, ‘Psalm 83.’

Note the threat in Psalm 83: “For behold, Your enemies make an uproar, and those who hate You have exalted themselves.  They make shrewd plans against Your people,  And conspire together against Your treasured ones.  They have said, “Come, and let us wipe them out as a nation” (Psalm 83:2-4).

In several of our trips to Israel we visited the Northern most point of Israel, the town of Medulla.  One can stand on a corner stone and see Lebanon to the left and Syria to their right.  One visitor who stood on that spot remarked, it is no longer Syria that I see but Russia, Iran and the coming together of the Gog Magog confederacy.

So, my good buddies, I ask you again, “Are you up to speed in what is happening in your world?”  The signs of the coming of Jesus are no longer locked up in the Book of Daniel but are happening all around us.  Jesus said, “When that happens, you best look up for your redemption is just around the corner. (Hillbilly version)

A Day to Pig-Out on Turkey or to GIve Thanks to the Lord

“Know the Lord Himself is God; It is He who has made us and not we ourselves; we are His people and the sheep of His pasture.  Enter His gates with thanksgiving and His courts with praise.  Give thanks to Him, bless His name” (Psa. 100:3-4). “O, come, let us sing for joy to the Lord. Let us shout joyfully to the rock of our salvation.  Let us come before your presence with thanksgiving. Let us shout joyfully to Him with psalms” (Psa. 95:1-2).

Hey Gang:  This morning, about three a.m. when I was tossing and turning trying to find a comfortable position for my sore back, the thought of Thanksgiving came into my thoughts.  The question: What does one write about Thanksgiving when our nation is in such turmoil and folks do not seem to be too concerned with saying thank you - to anyone for anything?

Years ago, one of the younger boys at the Village said to me, “Mr. H. why don’t we celebrate Thanksgiving every day and only one day be grumpy?”  Sounded like a good idea but we know that positive anything does not sell newspapers.

Years ago, a Newspaper editor announced to his readers that he was going to publish a weekly handout of all the good things that were happening in the community.  A fine gesture that lasted less than two months - because only a few of the elderly readers bothered to pick it up.

The bride- of-my- youth was going through her considerable archives and came up with this neat Recipe for Thanksgiving that might give you “food” for thought.  I especially like Mathew Henry’s prayer of thanks on the night he was robbed:  “I thank Thee, first, because I was never robbed  before; second, because although they took my purse, they did not take my life; third, although they took my all, it was not much; fourth, it was I who was robbed, not I who robbed!”

The Recipe for Thanksgiving is based on Paul’s letter to the Thessalonians:  “In everything give thanks; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you”   (1 Thess: 5:18).  You might want to pay special attention to this Morning Message and share around your Thanksgiving table.

 Ingredients:
Two Teaspoons of Trust: “Come to Me, all you who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.  Take my yoke upon you and learn from Me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls.  For My yoke is easy and My burden is light” (Matthew 11:28-30).

One Cup of Contentment “…For I have learned in whatever state I am, to be content” (Phil. 4:11).

Three Tablespoons of Gratitude “…giving thanks to the Father who has qualified is to be  partakers in the inheritance of the saints in the light.  He has delivered us from the power of darkness and conveyed us into the kingdom of the Son of God of His love, in whom we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of sins” (Col. 1:12-14).

One Teaspoon of FaithFor God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son. That whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.  For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved” (John 3:16-17).

Inclusion of these ingredients will make a mighty fine desert for your Thanksgiving feast. But don’t forget to close with a verse of praise for that which He provided for your table today.  “Let the heavens rejoice, let the earth be glad, let them say among the nations, “The Lord reigns!”

Blessings to you this Thanksgiving Season.

Confused, Disappointed, Maybe Even Angry!

The writer of Hebrews writes: “Your throne, O God, is for ever and ever, and the righteous scepter is the scepter of His kingdom, You have loved righteousness and hated lawlessness; Therefore God, Your God, has anointed You with the oil of gladness above Your companions” (Heb. 1:8-9).  Later in Hebrews we read: “Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, and today and forever” (Heb. 13*). Now back to Hebrews one: “And, You, Lord, in the beginning laid the foundation of the earth and the heavens are the works of Your hands” (Heb. 1:10).

Hey Gang:  I am not sure If I am going through the post-election jitters or just plain worn out from the constant diet of those who want to be residents of the Beltway establishment (commonly referred to as “Gridlock City”.   I have felt throughout the electron process that we would see a tiny hint of God’s intention for this rebellious Nation.

My prayer was to give our President, who has kept his promises to the people, something no other President, in recent years has done, two more years of like-minded people to support his agenda.  I confess I was first confused, then disappointed and even angry when I watched the polling numbers come in and realized it as not God’s will that my request be honored.   BUT this I know, God is not sitting in the heavenlies wringing His hands over the misguided will of the people. He has not even making a correction in His plan for this age.  You can take it to the bank that planet earth is right on His time lines.

Well, today is Friday- and confusion, disappointment and anger have subsided – subsided yes, but not gone completely.    The Christian gurus, who are much wiser then I in the world of politics and prognostications of what this all means, have taken a more positive attitude towards the outcome.  Their drift seems to be two years down the road, when the Presidential election comes to the forefront this will probably assure his reelection and a regathering of the House under the covering of the more conservative influences of the lands.

At 85 years of age, I tend to look more at the now and confess I have a very nauseating feeling deep in the pit of my stomach, for we are in for two years of a new level of hatred in the Beltway as the ‘not so loyal opposition’ will dig into everything from what kind of toothpaste he uses to what color sox our President wears.

But is there a deeper meaning to all of this.  Has this election exposed a flaw in the two-party system? George Washington believed political parties have within them the power to totally divide a nation, which we have seen escalate under the past several Presidential regimes.  He warned in his farewell speech in 1776;
“You cannot shield yourselves too much against jealousies and heart burnings which spring from these misrepresentations;  they tend to render alien to each other those who ought be  found together by fraternal affection…they are likely, in the course of timed and things, to become potent engines, by which cunning ambitions, and unprincipled men will be enabled to subvert the power of the people and to usurp for themselves  the reins of government, destroying afterwards the very engines which have lifted them to unjust dominion”.

As I mentioned above, I am 85 and have been truly blessed by Abba Father.  I am not concerned for my sake but for my children, grands and great grands.  I feel shame in my heart for the world that I am turning over to them.  I also feel a great sadness in my heart because I grew up in a wonderful, loving world where people could sit down together and make decisions based on what is best for our nation.

Have we passed the point of no return where sin has become so dominate that the spiral towards the pit cannot not be rectified?  Only if God’s patience has run out and He adds USA to the long list other empires that turned their back on Him.

Perfect? Not by Long Shot - But.....

“They will build houses and inhabit them; They will also plant vineyards and eat their fruit.  They will not build, and another inhabit; They will not plant and another eat; For the lifetime of a tree, so will be the days of My people, and My chosen will wear out the work of their hands” (Isaiah 65:21-23).

Hey Gang, When I get a case of the blahs or feel the pressures of the day bearing down on me, I tend to run for the book shelve and take down the very well-worn Book of Amish Proverbs.  As a truck driver that visited more than fifty Amish farms, I learned what contentment looks like.

In the Book 0f Amish Proverbs there is the story of a young lad who had injured his ankle badly enough that his mother took him to a doctor.  After a period of waiting the young lad became irritated that it was taking so long.  Across from them sat a young Amish couple.  The young mother had injured her shoulder and was in great pain.

Finally, the nurse came out and called for the Amish couple to see the doctor.  The Amish husband remarked, see that was not so bad, we only had to wait an hour.   The mother nudged the boy and said, See, you wanted things right now, the Amish are satisfied to ‘wait’.”

To the Amish, waiting is an attitude that is taught to their children throughout their formative years.  They wait for spring to plow and plant, for autumn to reap and harvest.  They know there is nothing they can do to speed up natures process.   In their three-hour plus worship times, usually in one of the family farms, (no padded seats) they take to heart the words of the Psalmist, “Rest in the Lord, and wait patiently for Him” (Psalm 37:7 KJV).

Time is a non-essential ingredient in the Amish life.  As Amos Zook said, ‘We live by “sun time” and I do not recall ever being concerned about the time. We base our time on sun up, noon, and dark time.  Many Amish homes do not have clocks.  They recognize and firmly believe that patience is a key part of God’s character.
As one Amishman said, “It is hard to be in much of a rush in a buggy pulled by horse.”  It’s as if they live their life with unlimited amounts of time, as if they have a toe- hold on eternity.
I love the Amish proverbs.  Their belief is that common sayings promote patience as a virtue.  Is that not neat?  Lean back, take a deep breath and read though some of these sayings, some go back hundreds of years:
“It takes a century for God to make a sturdy oak.”
            “Harvest comes not every day.”
“A hand full of patience is worth more than a bushel of brains.”
“Some people never learn anything because they know everything to soon.”
“The reason some people get lost in thought is because it is unfamiliar territory.
“You can tell when you are on the right track – it is mostly up hill.”
“It’s what you learn after you know it all that counts.”
“Remember when you talk you only repeat what you already know, if you listen, you might learn something”.

To these I add one hillbilly proverb that has been a part of my heritage: “it is best to remain silent and be thought a fool than to speak up and remove all doubt."

I firmly believe our world to wired to tight.   One only has only to drive on our Nation’s highways to see the frantic displays of getting there one second sooner. I do not believe that is God’s way.  The Amish also have a saying that they title, ‘Time Thieves’, included are television, radio, newspapers.  In my many years of working with delinquent and problem kids, I have never received a referral of a Amish child.

And so, my friends, may I suggest you hang the following verse on one of those hooks in your cranium and pull it out every morning before you start your day:  “Let every man be swift to hear, slow to speak, slow to wrath; for the wrath of man does not produce the righteousness of God“(James 12:19-20).

Is Our Current President a Temporary Road BLock?

“When these things begin to take place, straighten up and lift up your heads because your redemption is drawing near” (Luke 21:29).

Hey gang:  We recently returned from a Prophecy Conference. Normal questions from friends and brothers and sisters in Christ, “How was it?”  How does one say great- when the theme of the conference was the coming end of this age and that billions of people on going to perish if they do not get their hearts right with Jesus.  There were thirty-three presenters offering eighty workshops in 3 days!

The Presenters came from all over the United States and several from overseas; they had very little opportunity to make contact with each other.  The only instruction given to them was time and place of their workshops.  But, yet, there was a similar theme that ran through nearly all of the eighty workshops, “GET YOUR HOUSE IN ORDER!”

I am writing this Gramps message the night before the mid-term elections.    One has to have their head buried deep in the sand not to realize the importance of this election.    In 2016, just a week before the election day, our President was seven points down, or so said the very liberal press, but that was before God took control of the ballot box and the hearts of many of God’s people.

There is no question with the liberal media against him, the Hollywood contingent and of course the very left leaning democratic faithful, that they had the election in their party and were in the process of how they would remove Christ from more than the halls of government - but from the nation.  But, at that time, God said, “No, I love this country, the land of the free and the brave; a nation founded on My principles and freedom to worship Me at any time and any place. It was the faith of the Founding Fathers that paved the way for greatness.”

The late Dr. James Kennedy, influential pastor of Coral Ridge Presbyterian Church in Florida, who shared this observation:  “In reading the Constitution of all fifty states, I discovered…there is in all fifty, without exception, an appeal or a prayer to the Almighty God of the universe…Through all fifty state Constitutions, without exception, there runs this same appeal and reverence to God who is the Creator of our liberties and the preserver of out freedoms”.

General Omar Bradley, was the first officer assigned as Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff after World War II.  He stated this powerful insight, “We have grasped the mystery of the atom and ejected the Sermon on the Mount…The world has achieved brilliance without conscience.  Ours is a world of nuclear giants and ethical infants”.

Paul gives us warning, “Beware lest anyone cheat you though philosophy and empty deceit, according to the tradition of men, according to the basic principles of the world, and not according to Christ”. (Col. 2:8).  He went on in verse 10, “We cannot rely upon philosophy and tradition to show us truth.  In stead, we must continually gauge the world’s message through the Bible to see how it compares to the Lord’s ultimate truth.  When we do. God promises that we will be “complete in Him”.

I asked the question, “Is our president a temporary road block?  We will find out tomorrow whether He, God Almighty, is willing to extend that road block for another two years to see if we get our head out of the sand and return to the roots of our Founding Fathers.  If not, I pray, God have mercy on our Nation!

Have You Ever Been Part of a Real Live Miracle?

“For by these, He has granted to us His precious and magnificent promises, so that by them you may become partakers of the divine nature having escaped the corruption that is in the world by lust” (2 Peter 1:4).

Hey Gang:  The past months have been filled with reminiscing, sharing stories, digging through fifty years of archives, as we have celebrated fifty years of seeing the miracle of change in the lives of hurting people.

Most rewarding of all is the number of past residents, campers, families, foster kids, employees and  board members and donors, who came to the aid of two young people - who just wanted to help some kids do far greater things than they were equipped to do.  If there was ever a question as to whether God was the true power behind the develop of Eagle Village, look at the first years of its development.

In going through the many stories that have surfaced, it is impossible to pick out a very best.  For in their own way every single one is a very best.  I wish I could say that every one told a story of success, but that is not the case.

But let me share a story that happened during this time.  My bride and I were on campus for meetings when a man came to the receptionist asking to see one of our past employees.  He introduced himself as a past resident in Sherk House in the early nineties.

Since the person he asked to see has long since move on, the bride of my youth spent an hour with him listening to his story.  It was not a wonderful story by any means, but, in many ways, it was a success story.  He said that as he drove to the Village, he was not sure he should come back.  When he arrived he seemed very nervous, but it was not long until he felt at peace.

As the hour passed and he related the changes that had taken place in his life, including his relationship with Jesus, he began to relax and become more verbal.  He said his concern was that he would not be welcomed at the Village but, at the same, knew that he would be.

There are hundreds of stories.  Each one is unique.  Everyone is important, for it represents a child or family that came seeking, and many, many found what was needed to fill the hurting vacuum in their chest cavity.   In going through the archives, I have chosen one that I believe would describe a multitude of the kids that have crossed our path.

When my son was 15 he was angry and defiant. He had no respect for the rules and pushed the limits at home and at school.
My husband worked down state and was gone all week. I needed help and I went to the court house to ask for help. They said they could not help because he had not done anything illegal. I begged for help before he did do something illegal. They repeated that there was nothing they could do.
That is when the judge came out of a room behind me, took me into his chambers and in very little time had arranged for my son to go to Eagle Village for a Camp Survival trip.
When we left him at Eagle Village for the trip, he was cruel and cursed me as an evil $&##+. It was one of the worst moments of my life.
Two weeks later, after completing the Camp experience, he gave a small speech (as all the boys did). He thanked me for making him take the trip and spoke of all he had learned.
Today, he is 43 years old and the City Manager of a small peaceful Village. He is neither rich nor highly important, but he is honest and hard-working, a terrific father, husband, brother and son. Thank you.” – Cindy, parent of a former camper.

I close this epistle today with Luke’s words that have been the back bone of the Village ministry, “Give, and it will be given to you.  They will pour into your lap a good measure – pressed down, shaken together, and running over.  For by your standard of measure it will be measured to you in return”  (Luke 6:38).  Notice:  By your standard of measure it will be measured to you!

Blessings,

Gramps

Are We In the Midst of a Metamorphosis?

“He gives rain on the earth and sends water on the fields, So that He sets on high those who are lowly, and those who mourn are lifted up to safety,  He frustrates the plotting of the shrewd, So that their hands cannot attain success” (Job5:10-12).

Hey Gang:  We are blessed to be members of the Jonathan Cahn family and receive monthly devotionals from him.  They are a wonderful mixture of prophecy, Hebrew education and many words of encouragement in these very tough times.

The theme of this month’s letter included a lesson in the process the caterpillar goes through to become a beautiful butterfly.  A process called metamorphosis. Cahn’s focus: we as Christians go through a metamorphosis from the moment we are born into the Kingdom of our Lord until we are called up to be with Him.

Tough process?  You bet.  I believe most would agree Paul was one, who in his early ministry went through a tough process moving from a Pharisee, with intent of shutting down the New Way faith, to moving into the Lord’s camp and promoting and developing this New Way.  One day. as he was on another field trip with the intent of doing great harm to the New Way community, God looked down and said, “I’ll take that one”.

As I have watched the Cavanaugh fiasco, my watching has been sparse indeed,  it has caused pangs of a mixture of anger and sadness. The steady around-the-clock diet in the news it is like wallpaper paste and sticks to whatever it contacts.  It reminds me of a book I reported on in Helen Reimund’s class at good old Findlay College, by Anton Chekhov, the theme was based on ‘Man’s Inhumanity to Man”.

I believe most would agree, Paul’s metamorphosis from Pharisee to servant of the living God worked out pretty well, even though he confessed there were times when he did the very thing he did not want to do.

I believe it was Albert Einstein who promoted the truth that for every action there is an equal reaction.  I suspect his statement pertained to the world of science, but in my years of going through the metamorphosis process, I have found that statement to be more truth than fiction in every area of my life.

My fear is that our Nation is also going through a metamorphosis, but in the opposite direction from a beautiful butterfly to a ugly caterpillar.  How sad. Your people who are called by Your name are not shouting from the rooftops, enough!  My concern is why would a Bible-believing born-again Christian open their heart and family to the evilness that surrounds our Nation at this time.  When even death threats are being waged against the Bride and children of God’s family.

As an air traffic controller, when an aircraft declared he was having mechanical problems or had a medical emergency on board, my first consideration was which side of the point of no return is he.  The second was is there an intermediate airport that can handle the aircraft involved.

I wonder, Lord, what side of the point of no return America is on today.  I love the United States of America and have served her with my life.  My prayer is He, God, will send a Jonah into our midst and there will be an earth-shaking repentance in every nock and cranny of our nation.  This is my prayer, Lord.

And for each of you who read this epistle I pray you will join me in humbling yourself before the Lord, praying with intent and intensity, seek a deeper walk with the Lord and put off those things that are offensive to the Lord (2 Chron 7:14).    This I pray Father in Jesus’ Precious Name.  Amen.

Blessings,

Gramps
