Is the Abrahamic Covenant Still Alive and Well?

“Now the Lord had said to Abram: Get out of your country, from your family and from your father’s house, to a land that I will show you.  I will make you a great nation; I will bless you and make your name great; and you shall be a blessing.  I will bless those who bless you, and I will curse him who curses you; and in you all the families of the earth shall be blessed” (Gen.12:1-3).

Hey Gang:  Perhaps the question should be “Are you up to speed in what the Abrahamic Covenant is and how it fits into these last days of the age of the Gentiles?”  The short definition: “The Abrahamic Covenant is a God-given promise that has influenced the very course of human history”.

The apostle Paul, in writing his epistle to the Galatians made it very clear that it was a forever covenant that would never be revoked, replaced or repealed.  He wrote, “What I am saying in this -the Law, which came four hundred and thirty years later, does not invalidate a covenant previously ratified by God, so as to nullify the promise”.

We are told as the Age begins to wind down, we would see rebellion against all of the laws of God, as the world moves rapidly toward the fulfillment of the coming One World Government. It is interesting to note that God placed a huge bolder in the rapid developing plans of the globalist when he placed the trumpet (President Donald James Trump) in the Oval Office.

But that did not stop many preachers in our older major denominations from trying to annul the covenant in some form or fashion in an attempt to deny the Jewish people from returning to their homeland.  There argument, God would never displace a people in order to restore Jewish sovereignty.

But to accept this argument, one has to reject the truth- that He brought His people into Canaan, when the wickedness of the Nations living there was “ripe” for judgement (Deut. 9:4-5).  But even His excuse for retaking and giving the land back to His chosen people did not pass muster with many, they argue, God has no right to judge a nation group and give them an eviction notice.

Genesis and Psalms make it very clear that the Abrahamic Covenant is affirmed as an everlasting covenant (Gen. 17:7-8; Psalm 102:9-12).  Most theologians agree that it is  unconditional, meaning man did not have to do a thing to experience both the blessing or curses  of the covenant.

Although the covenant is under attack by growing numbers of religious gurus, we serve a God who does not change.  The Abrahamic Covenant is everlasting, cannot be changed and even the New Testament Scriptures affirm this.  (Heb. 6:13-20).

Why are their growing numbers who want the Abrahamic Covenant thrashed?  It stands in the way of the One World Government, which is prophesied to come.  Many believe President Trump is but a blip in the road preventing it from coming right now.  Does that mean we can rest on our laurels until the next election?  May that never be.  Read again what awaits those who refuse to ‘place their hands in the Hand of the One who stills the waters’ and make sure you leave no “Holes in Time!

Blessings,

Gramps
