“Behold I am going to
make Jerusalem a cup that causes reeling to all the peoples around, and when
the siege is against Jerusalem, it will also be against Judah It will
come in that day I will make Jerusalem a heavy stone for all the peoples, all
who lift it will be severely injured. And all the nations of the earth
will be gathered against it” (Zech. 12:22-23)
Hey Gang: Are
you aware that we are in the time referred to by Jesus as “the look up time, for your redemption is drawing near”. (Luke
21:28). Are you aware of what our President and John Kerry, Secretary of
State, are pressuring Israel and the Palestinians to accept? What they feel is
their solution to the age old problem of hatred between the two peoples?
In a recent daily report by the International Christian
Embassy in Jerusalem the following warning was sent to John Kerry by a
group of prominent Israeli rabbis warning him against invoking the wrath of God
by pursuing the current pressuring on Israel and the Palestinians to accept
their mandate – ‘that this is the way it will be whether you like it or not!
The Rabbis proclaimed: “Your incessant efforts to expropriate integral parts of our Holy Land
and hand them over to Abbas’s terrorist gang, amount to a declaration of war
against the Creator and Ruler of the universe! For G-d awarded the entire Land
of Israel to our ancestors, Abraham, Isaac and Jacob, in order that they
bequeath it, as an everlasting inheritance, to their descendants, the Jewish
people, until the end of all time,” the letter reads. “If you continue on this destructive path, you will ensure your
everlasting disgrace in Jewish history for bringing calamity upon the Jewish
people. By the power of our Holy Torah, we admonish you to cease immediately
all efforts to achieve these disastrous agreements – in order to avoid severe
Heavenly punishment for everyone involved.”
I would call that good advice, for they are not only
tampering with God’s land and people for this day, but for all
eternity. Not only are they placing Israel in jeopardy but the United
States of America as well! Joel is very clear in what will happen to
those nations that tamper with the lands given to Israel in the Abrahamic
Covenant: “”I will gather all the nations and bring them down in the
valley of Jehoshaphat. Then I will enter into judgment with them
there. On behalf of My people and MY inheritance, Israel, whom they have
scattered among the nations; and they have divided up My land”
(Joel 3:2).
Some years ago William Koenig, Correspondent in the White
House, did a study of all the times that our presidents have made demands
on Israel to give up lands that clearly described as covenant lands in a book
called Eye To Eye. He listed fifty- seven different incidents that
occurred during the time or shortly after demands were made on Israel by our
Government. His most recent Daily News Report suggests that the current
cold spell is more that adverse weather – it has been holding in place since
John Kerry began to lay out his demands that Israel re-enter negotiations
with Abbas, who wants to push the Jews into the Sea.
Shortly after his appointment was approved by the
Senate Kerry announced that he would begin negotiations with Netanyahu and
Abbas, his home state of Massachusetts was hit with a major storm.
Do you think the fires, tornadoes, hurricanes, droughts of the past summer were
just coincidents?
Soooo, friends and neighbors, what say you?
Has the heart of the Palestinian leadership changed? Are they ready to
put away their swords and pick up plowshares. Will there be
peace in the Holy Lands if this is approved? Or will it be a peace like
the peace of Saladin? (Delayed so they could re-group.) The best military
minds in the world have avowed that, if Israel is forced to give up the West
Bank, there is no way the land of Israel can be defended.
